We all had a fantastic time at the family reunion, and one of the highlights was the family dance. We had everything from Miley Cyrus to N*Sync to Michael Jackson to Simon and Garfunkel. Seriously off the charts! One sad thing about it though was that I realized that I am no longer cool and hip. All the kids were bouncing to the above song, and I wanted to join them, but I was so out of place and had never even heard the song before.
Sad realization. Awesome new song to me. And here's another song I didn't know, but that one 4-year old there was able to sing all the words to. He's young and hip, and I'm not.
"La la la, it doesn't matter, La la la..."

So sad we missed it! I try to listen to the radio in the car, then I get to hear the new songs, not that it makes me hip.
