Alexa is now a week old and we're a little behind on posting pictures, so here they come. Enjoy!
Sleeping like an angel in the hospital.
Our little girl gets getting a double dose of motherly love.
Our caseworker Kelly (left), Melissa holding Alexa, and Melissa's 2nd mother Darlene on placement day. It was a tough day, but we knew it was for the best.
The car seat we got was rated for babies between 5 and 22 lbs., so she has some room to grow into it.
Something like a smile after we got home from Pueblo.
Grandma Nelson gave her this cute little sleeper that says "Happy" across the front, but Aly's not a big fan of getting her clothes changed, so we got a good picture of a happy but crying baby.
She loves to have her hands up by her face, which sometimes leads to her sleeping in funny positions like this one. The blanket she is wrapped in was a beautiful Christmas present from Aunt Kandice.

She's so beautiful, Rachel! I am SO happy for you! What a beautiful family (ALL of you!) What a blessing! We can't wait to adopt - even though our kids will be older and not quite as adorable ;) I feel like it's such a blessing to be able to be another part of someone's family. Congrats again!
I'm glad you finally found a moment to post! Love the pictures!
