1/50 Books to Read in a Year

Well, in just less than 2 weeks I read my first book of 50 I want to read in a year, meaning I need to pick up the pace. I started out with Sing Me to Sleep by Angela Morrison.

It was a beautiful read, juvenile, but as it is a teen book I suppose that makes sense. A truly lovely, romantic, and heart-felt story about a beast turned beauty through the power of love and song. A must-read for any teenage/young adult girl who loves music and a great love story! It's a cross between Beauty and the Beast and Phantom of the Opera, both referenced within the book, and the latter is the next book on my read list. So far, it's great!

I liked it about as much as I liked any of the Twilight books, so I'll give it

By the way, the author is my aunt-in-law, and she gave me a copy of all of her books, signing each of them as "Aunt Annie;" some of my favorite gifts! She has also written a trilogy Taken By Storm, Unbroken Connection, and Cayman Summer which I am excited to read later on in my year.

  1. I have hundreds of dollars of books in my wishlist on Amazon. I love to read and haven't quite set a goal like you have but love the idea. I find so many people talking about the great books, especially all time classics, that I never read. My goal to read all the books that so many others did. Keep posting on the books. I will surely read some of them as well.
