The Miracle of Adoption

A couple weekends ago Nicholas and I attended a Families Supporting Adoption conference. It was wonderful! An entire conference brought together by/for those who have been blessed by adoption! One of my favorite parts was lunch because the children came out of the nursery and got to be with their parents. Of course, at this point, I could not help myself! Here are some pictures of the children at the conference:

I asked this cute little girl if I could take her picture, and she showed me her lollipop. FUN!

This little guys' parents just finalized their adoption paperwork and are now looking for the rest of their family!

You want to think about something incredible? Each one of these children have been/will be brought together with their eternal families in one way or another through adoption.

 These two are twins. Their parents just adopted a little sister for them!

I just love her big beautiful blue eyes and her rosy red cheeks! She's sitting enjoying her lunch with her family.

Yeah, we're going to be able to help create a family that would not have existed otherwise through adoption. Amazing, no?

He was so enthralled with his coloring, I couldn't bear to interrupt. He is hoping to adopt a little brother or sister!

This cute little bunch was brought together through a fost-to-adopt program. Clearly they were always family.

All I can say is, God bless the mother of our child, wherever she is. And their father, too. They are our miracle angels! And all the other birthparents in this world! They have created innumerable wonderfully happy families! That is the miracle of adoption.
